Main Features of the Swasthya Sathi Scheme
- Basic health cover for secondary and tertiary care around Rs 1.5 Lakh per annum through Insurance mode.
- Paperless, Cashless, Smart Card based online Swasthya sathi Smart card is provided to every household on the day of Enrolment. Smart Card captures the details of the family members, Pictures, biometric, speech, Mobile Number, SECC ID, AADHAAR No (if available). Management of the scheme is in a paperless IT system from day one.
- There’s no limit on the household size, and Parents and Spouse are included. Unmarried daughter upto 21 years and all dependent physically challenged persons from the household also covered. All pre existing diseases are covered.
- The whole premium is borne by the State Government, and no contribution from the beneficiary.
- Over 500 Hospitals and Nursing Homes are already enrolled under the scheme through an internet empanelment portal. Hospitals are graded based on the services available to three classes, i.e., Grade-A, Grade-B, and Grade-C hospitals. Online empanelment & gradation of Hospitals dependent on the advantages and infrastructure available.

- Download Form B application.
