Oasis Scholarship 2025: Oasis scholarship is an online scholarship scheme introduced by the Government of West Bengal for all underprivileged students of SC, ST, and OBC categories. The main reason behind this Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to economically poor SC, ST, and OBC Students for their Pre Matric and Post Matric Studies.

Types Of Oasis Scholarship:

Eligibility Criteria For Oasis Scholarship:
Pre-Matric Scholarship For SC Students:
- Students of class 9th and 10th and belong to the SC category.
- Parents Annual Income should not be more than INR 2 Lakh per annum from all
Pre-Matric Scholarship For ST Students:
- A student must be ST category.
- Students of the 9th and 10th classes are eligible to apply.
- Parents Annual Income should not be more than INR 2 Lakh from all sources.
Post-Matric Scholarship For SC Students:
- Students at the post-secondary or post-matriculation level
- belong to the SC category.
- Parents Annual Income not be more than INR 2.5 Lakh
Post-Matric Scholarship For SC Students:
- Students at post-secondary or post-matriculation level
- belong to the ST category.
- Parents Annual Income not be more than INR 2.5 Lakh from all sources.
Post-Matric Scholarship For OBC Students:
- Students studying at the post-secondary level
- Students should belong to the OBC category.
- Parents Annual Income from all sources should not be more than INR 1 Lakh.
Documents Required For Oasis Scholarship:
For the Students who are applying for Oasis Scholarship scheme following documents are required.
- Passport Size Photograph
- Caste Certificate
- Mark Sheet/ Certificate Of Last Qualifying Examination

Rewards of Oasis scholarship:
Pre-Matric Scholarship For SC Students:
- For Day Scholars: INR 150 per month + Adhoc grant of INR 750 per annum
- For Hostellers: INR 750 per month + Adhoc grant of INR 1,000 per annum.
Pre-Matric Scholarship For ST Students:
- For Day Scholars: INR 150 per month + Adhoc grant of INR 750 per annum
- For Hostellers: INR 750 per month for + Adhoc grant of INR 1,000 per annum.
Post-Matric Scholarship For SC/ST Students:
- For Day Scholars: up to INR 550 per month
- For Hostellers: INR 1200 per month
For Engineering/ Bsc (Agri)/ Medical/ Mphil/PhD/ LLM Students:

Application Process Of Oasis Scholarship:
To apply for the Oasis Scholarship Students will have to follow the procedure given below.
- First, click on the Official Website of the Oasis scholarship
- Oasis Scholarship Main page will be displayed on your screen
- In Students Corner click on the student’s registration link
- Student’s Registration page will be displayed on your screen
- Then you will have to choose the district and submit
- For Students: Choose the district where your School or College is located
- For Students Outside West Bengal: Choose the district of your permanent
- address
- For Officials: Choose your concerned district
- A new page (VERIFICATION OF CASTE CERTIFICATE ) will be displayed on your
- screen
- Enter your Caste Certificate Number and Issuing Date
- Verify your caste certificate
- A Registration of Students page will be displayed on your screen
- Enter required details
- Finally, click on Submit Button
- The Oasis Scholarship registration information will be displayed on your screen
- Download Oasis Scholarship Acknowledgment Slip
Registered Student’s Login Of Oasis Scholarship:
- First, click on the official website of the Oasis Scholarship
- The Scholarship Main page will be displayed on your screen
- In Students Corner click on the Registered Student’s Login link
- Registered Student’s Login page will be displayed on your screen
- Then you will have to choose the district and submit
- A new page (Login Area for New Students) will be displayed on your screen
- Now you have to log in with Application ID and Password
- Click on the option called Apply
- The Oasis application form will be displayed
- Enter your complete details and your Bank Account Details
- save and proceed to Verifying and Locking of Oasis Scholarship application
- Once you have filled all your information in the Oasis application form.
- You have to click on the “Verify and Lock” button to lock all the information you filled in.
- Note: Once you have locked the information, you cannot make any changes further.
- Finally, Submit Your Oasis Scholarship Application
- Download and Print your application form by clicking on the option called Download Application Form
- Submit the Oasis Scholarship application to the concerned Block Development
Renewal of Application Of Oasis Scholarship:
To renew your Oasis Scholarship Application you will have to follow the procedure given below:-
- First, go to the Oasis scholarship Official Website
- Now in Students Corner click on the option called Renew Scholarship
- Log in with your Oasis Application ID and Password
- Verify your previous application details
- Click on the Renew Application Button
- Enter your current academic qualification details
- Now click on the button called Renew And Lock Application
- Submit the Oasis Application to the concerned Block Development Officer.
- The documents to be submitted along with your Oasis Scholarship
- Your recent stamp-sized photograph
- Attested caste certificate or acknowledgment slip
- Attested copy of your mark sheet and certificate of the last examination passed
